Phoenix Center for Education classrooms are staffed with one certified special-education teacher and one teaching assistant/paraprofessional for every ten students. This ensures each student receives plenty of individualized instruction. We focus on research-based, strategic instruction methods, and work toward a transition back to the home school.
In addition to academic instruction and behavioral intervention, PCE offers several realted services, including individual and group counseling, speech, language, physical, and occupational therapy, vocational and employment services, and college guidance counseling.
Students in the comprehensive high-school transition program receive instruction in life skills, computer skills, strategic study skills, college planning, and career development, leading to their transition to adult living and higher education.
